A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT · EIN 39-2800509

Housing shouldn't cost you your life.

We're building small, self-sustaining villages where homes stay affordable forever, work is shared, and daily life is simpler. Our first village is coming to San Diego County.

§ 01 — THE PROBLEM

The math of modern life stopped working.

Rent and mortgages take half of what most people earn. Food, utilities, and isolation take much of the rest. We work more, connect less, and own nothing at the end of it. Conscious Living Collective exists because we believe there's a better arrangement — one that's been proven by villages for most of human history.

§ 02 — THE MODEL

How a CLC village works.

01

The nonprofit owns the land and homes — forever.

No landlord, no bank, no resale. Homes can never be flipped, priced out, or taken away from the community.

02

Members contribute instead of paying rent or a mortgage.

$500 a month, or 40 hours of community work — building, growing food, cooking, teaching, maintaining. Your contribution builds the village, not someone's profit.

03

The village provides more than housing.

Shared gardens and farms, communal kitchens and workshops, tools, skills, and neighbors who know your name. Living costs go down because life is shared.

§ 03 — PHASE ONE · LAND & FOUNDERS

We're at the beginning. That's the point.

CLC was recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity in August 2025. We don't own land yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. Right now we are raising our land fund, evaluating properties in the Valley Center area of San Diego County, and gathering the founding members who will build the first village with their own hands. Founders don't join something finished — they make it exist.

PHASE 1 · IN PROGRESS — NOW

Land & Founders

Raise the $500,000 land fund, secure 5+ acres, seat a founding board, commit our first founding members.

PHASE 2

First homes & infrastructure

Build the first cluster of homes, water, power, and gardens — founders first.

PHASE 3

Village life & sponsored residents

As dues and donations grow, open homes to veterans, seniors, and others who need them most, at $500/month or work-share alone.

PHASE 4

Replication

Document everything and help the next village begin.

We've identified several promising properties. Because we can't control the market, the final purchase price may differ — anything raised beyond the land cost goes directly to building the first homes.

§ 05A — FOR FUTURE MEMBERS

Build it with us.

Founding members shape everything: the land, the homes, the culture. If you have hands, skills, or the will to learn, we want to meet you.

§ 05B — FOR DONORS
